Anger Management 6.5
While I enjoyed ‘School For Scoundrels’ (and, yes, I think they’re comparable movies), I had a bit more of a hard time with this one.
I enjoyed the Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler duo, but this story of a timid man who is driven to the edge of reason by a court-appointed therapist (purportedly for his own good, I might add!) is very contrived and frequently unrealistic. Sure, it has its amusing moments, but it was equally frustrating to watch and, thus, it tested my patience more than a comedy should. Of course, that’s nothing new with Hollywood cookie-cutter comedies.
I think that it would have been more fun to watch with the right company, however – and this might be rectified at a later date 🙂
