Les nombrils, vol. 1: Pour qui tu te prends?, by Delaf and Dubuc 3.0

A half-notch about ‘St Trinian’s’, this comic strip is a celebration of superficiality and cruelty to others. All the characters are either mean or moronic and, thus, hard to sympathize with or relate to.

I don’t know who the market for this strip is, but I suspect it’s supposed to be 13-16 year-old girls. It’s good to see a strip that’s not just for boys, but I wonder if the girls who would relate to this would even read comics.

…or if they could read at all, really.

Of course, with such low-brow and soul-sucking material to sink their whitened teeth into, why bother?
