I thought this might be a comedy (I mean, really, with a title like that you’ve got the making of fairly funny -if devilishly raunchy- humour), but it turned out to be half mock-documentary and half drama. Oh well.

I was interested at first, because we were delving into the character’s psychology full-on, and it was nice to see what made him tick, but then things took a less credible turn and the movie became a road trip. And not a thrilling one at that.

Sure, it was enjoyable enough to keep watching, and it is a decent film despite its lapses in credulity, but I wouldn’t leap at screening it again right away.

Still, for a low budget Canadian production, it’s not too shabby. Not high art, obviously (it does get a bit coarse!), but it’s a relatively successful effort on the filmmakers’ part.

What do you think?
