RASL, vol. 1 by Jeff Smith 5.0

I have so very little to say about this book.

It’s not necessarily a bad read, but I was bored throughout – so disinterested was I that, despite being a breezy affair, I decided to skip the next volume (which I had in my possession).

This particular black and white art isn’t inspiring either. I don’t mind monochromatic books, but I think that colour would have done something to help this one along.

Anyway, sci-fi fans might want to check it out as a curiosity, especially since it’s from the creator of ‘Bone’. But I would go in with low expectations.
